Strokes frontman Julian Casablancas has confirmed that his new solo album 'Phrazes For The Young' will be released on October 19.
As previously reported on Gigwise, the eight-track LP includes the tracks 'River Of Brake Lights', 'Ludlow St' and 'Glass'.
The album was recorded in New York and Los Angeles and features additional production from Jason Ladler and Mike Mogis.
'Phrazes For The Young' will mark Casablancas' first full length project away from the US band.
The singer's previous solo outings have included a guest appearance alongside Santigold and Pharrell Williams on the 2008 single 'My Drive Thru'.
