The Rolling Stones have officially denied that drummer Charlie Watts is leaving the band.
Rumours began circulating on Wednesday (Spetemeber 2nd) that Watts would cease recording and touring with the band but a statement was released denying these rumours.
The short statement reads, 'Contrary to a fabricated story that ran this morning on a small music web site in Australia, drummer Charlie Watts has not left The Rolling Stones.'
These rumours come just days after police announced the would be re-investigating the death of Brian Jones in 1969.
