Glasvegas frontman James Allan has said that he has already began to pen new songs for the Glasgow band’s upcoming second album.
Speaking exclusively to Gigwise shortly before the band’s phenomenal set at Reading last Saturday night, Allan stated how he’d “been writing a lot...since we'’ve made the Christmas record I've just been writing.”
“I'’ll start recording October/November time and then carry right through to January/February probably... just get the demos down first”, Allan stated before guitarist and cousin Rab Allan added, “It'’s pure, solid gold”.
The Glaswegian four piece were playing the NME/Radio One stage at Reading on Saturday night before the Gossip.
Stay tuned to Gigwise as the full interview with the band which will be up shortly.
