Arctic Monkeys were forced to briefly halt their headline set at Leeds Festival last night due to crushing in the crowd.
Four songs in, the Sheffield band stopped mid-way through Brianstorm with Alex Turner urging the crowd to “pick anyone up if they fall.”
Fortunately the set soon resumed and the band rattled through a set dominated by material from their third album 'Humbug.'
Despite playing a stormer, the set got a mixed reception from the crowd some of whom wanted a more hits ladden set.
The set list was as follows:
My Propeller
Red Right Hand
Crying Lightning
Brianstorm
Still Take You Home
I Bet You Look Good On The Dancefloor
Potion Approaching
Pretty Visitors
This House Is A Circus
If You Were There, Beware
When The Sun Goes Down
Dangerous Animals
The View From The Afternoon
Cornerstone
Only Ones Who Know
Do Me A Favour
Fluorescent Adolescent
Secret Door
505
