DJ AM has died aged 36 in New York tonight, it has been confirmed.
The star - real name Adam Goldestein and part of a duo with Travis Barker from Blink 182 - was discovered in his apartment in Manhattan, New York.
Although no official cause for the death has been confirmed, sources have told the New York Post that drugs paraphernalia was found at his home,
DJ AM of course narrowly escaped death with Travis Barker last year when their private aircraft crashed in South Carolina.
Barker's ex-wife, Playmate Shanna Moakler said of DJ AM's death: "My deepest condolences for DJ AM, you were a great artist and will be severely missed. My thoughts and prayers to his family and friends."
