Metallica, Eminem, Green Day and Gallows are amongst the nominees at the inaugural Inked True Color Awards celebrating tattooed culture.
The acts appear in the Best Band/Artist category at the bash held at the Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas on October 3.
The awards honour celebrities and taste makers with tattoos and will be followed by a live concert.
Inked's publisher Jim McDonald said: "We are excited about honoring the tattoo community with an award show and concert that not only showcases some of the best talents, but also to those who made the community what it is today.
"By choosing the Hard Rock Hotel, Vegas as our location, it sets the ultimate party scene for a celebration like ours."
