Neil Young has been allowed to leave hospital and is making excellent progress following his brain surgery.
Young, 59, was treated for a brain aneurysm in New York last week.
His agent, Bob Merlis has said: "The doctors say his progress has been excellent and the expectation is that he will make a full recovery."
He is currently recovering in his New York home and will return to his studio in Nashville in a few days, reports the BBC.
Young discovered there was something wrong during the induction ceremony for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame last month when his vision became blurred.
He was forced to miss Canada’s Juno Awards on Sunday, artists there, including KD Lang paid tribute to Young, describing him as: "an artist who has maintained his integrity, vision and purity".
