The Streets have axed their shows at Summer Sundae and the Edinburgh Picture House this weekend as bass player Wayne Vibes is ill with Swine Flu.
Mike Skinner broke the news on his Twitter page, saying: “Just as I get the all clear, my bass player Wayney is diagnosed with swine flu... AAAGGGGGHHHH”
After awaiting a decision from management, Skinner later posted: “sorry to be tweeting so much. this weekends shows have been cancelled though. I'll stop tweeting now.”
The Streets were due to headline the main stage at Summer Sundae on a bill that also features Mystery Jets, Bon Iver, The Charlatans, St Etienne, Dan Black and many more.
