Electronic duo Crystal Castles saw their performance at Los Angeles' Hard Festival closed down after safety concerns were raised due to the behaviour of fans.
Fans jumped from balconies onto the arena floor, which was enough to convince the local police and fire departments to shut the festival down due to safety fears.
17,000 people had gathered for the all-night rave, however, it was closed down after opening act Crystal Castles' had played at around 1am.
A statement that was published on the festival's website explained that, “They [the fire department] declared the event a "hazard" after seeing concertgoers jumping from the balcony to the floor, along with numerous other potentially dangerous activities.
The Inglewood Police Department backed the decision of the Fire Department and assisted in the clearance of the venue.
Refunds will be offered to those who attended.
