Thousands of fans descended upon Abbey Road on Saturday to mark the 40th anniversary of The Beatles' iconic album cover.
The street ground to a standstill as the flashmob crowd gathered for photos at the famous zebra crossing and to sing some of The Beatles greatest hits.
Tony Bramwell, The Beatles road manager who was present when Iain Macmillan took the photo on August 8 1969, was present at the celebration.
He told The Guardian: "Other than Paul and Ringo, I'm the only person alive who was here on that day. It's great to see that the whole thing carries on."
