A new solo single, called 'Fly Arm Blues', is set to be released by Jack White on August 11.
The single will be released both digitally on US iTunes and on 7 inch vinyl through Third Man Records and was "written on the spot at the request of film director Davis Guggenheim while filming the new guitar documentary 'It Might Get Loud'."
The film is released in American this month and apparently features White creating a guitar out of a coke bottle.
White is also producing two tracks, 'Afterparty' and 'C'mon and Ride', for Nashville based band 'Transit' (made up of the city's metro drivers).
Dan Sartain is also set to benefit from White's duties with 'Atheist Funeral' and 'Bohemian Grove' being produced by the Whites Stripes, Raconteurs and Dead Weather man.
