Eminem and Kanye West are set to go head-to-head in the same four categories at this year's MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs).
West's 'Love Lockdown' and Eminem's 'We Made You' have both been nominated for Video of the Year, Best Male Video and Best Hip Hop Video.
'We Made You' has also been short-listed along with West's 'Paranoid' for Best Special Effects.
Lady GaGa and Beyonce lead this year's nominations with nine nods each.
Both artists will face competition from West, Eminem and Britney Spears in the Video of the Year category.
Other nominees include Jay-Z, Asher Roth, Kid Cudi, T.I. and Rihanna.
The 2009 ceremony, hosted by Russell Brand, will take place at Radio City Music Hall in New York on September 13.
