Jarvis Cocker To Write Songs For Russell Brand Movie

Jarvis Cocker has written three songs for Russell Brand to perform in his forthcoming film Get Him To The Greek.

The film sees Brand reprise his role as Aldous Snow from the hit comedy Forgetting Sarah Marshall. Get Him To The Greek sees the hell-raising Snow, aided by a hapless intern, attempting to get to a concert in Los Angeles on time.

Speaking to Billboard.com Jarvis Cocker confirmed that he has written three songs the Aldous Snow character and that they are "Rather silly but then it's a silly film."

Get Him To The Greek is released in 2010 and fetures cameos from P.Diddy, Katy Perry, Christina Aguilera and Lars Ulrich of Metallica.
