Slipknot scooped a two of the top gongs at the 2009 Kerrang! Awards in London last night (August 3).
The Iowa-based masked metallers were named as the Best Live Act and the Best International band at the ceremony.
The band's frontman Corey Taylor co-hosted the event and said winning the two awards was “really gratifying.”
He said: “I can't think of many bands that have worked harder, and it really feels good that people are starting to turn around and really see what we're about and appreciating it for what it is."
Other big winners on the night were Metallica who won Best Album for Death Magnetic, The Prodigy with Best Single for 'Omen' and The Gaslight Anthem who walked away with Best International Newcomer.
