Noel Gallagher has asked Oasis fans to tell him whether he looks like Tom Hanks.
The guitarist raised the issue on his blog after a fan presented him with a t-shirt which showed Gallagher mocked up as a Simpson's character.
The incident occurred shortly before Gallagher boarded a flight to Japan to play at the Fuji Rocks festival.
“Was met at the airport by that girl who invented the "Noel Or Die" sign,” he wrote on Oasis' website.
“Only now she's made t-shirts. With me as a Simpson's character who looks more like Tom Hanks!! Do I look like Tom Hanks?”
As well as the Fuji Rocks festival, Oasis' five day trip to the Far East also included a date in Seoul, which the guitarist said was “immense”.
Meanwhile, Gallagher also spoke on his blog about Chelsea defender John Terry's decision not to move to Manchester City.
“Mardy-bum John Terry's not coming to City. Halle-fuckin'-looya,” he wrote.
