US rapper Lil' Wayne has spoken about his forthcoming album 'Rebirth', but failed to confirm any release plans.
The record, which fuses rap and rock music, had been scheduled for release in August.
But in an interview with MTV, Lil' Wayne said he was currently preoccupied with establishing his Young Money record label.
"Once I got that together, then I could work back on me. I'm a very humble person. I know once I get to it, I'mma get to it,” he said.
“So like I was saying, it's Young Money time, so making sure my artists get their just due."
Meanwhile, the rapper, who has just embarked on a US tour, promised that 'Rebirth' would show him “expressing myself without any boundaries”.
He added: “I told my record company, 'Don't tell me nothing about what I say. Don't tell me nothing about what you hear. Just get behind me.' That's what 'Rebirth' is."
As previously reported on Gigwise, Lil' Wayne cancelled his European tour earlier this month on the advice of doctors.
