Police seized mobile phones and a computer during a raid on the home and office of Michael Jackson’s doctor yesterday, it has emerged.
Agents from the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) also removed documents from Dr Conrad Murray’s Las Vegas home.
A warrant "authorised investigators to look for medical records relating to Michael Jackson and all of his reported aliases", Dr Murray's lawyer Ed Chernoff said.
He added that Dr Murray had been present at the time of the search, which came less than a week after a similar raid on the doctor's Houston office.
Items seized from the Armstrong Medical Clinic last week included a weight loss drug and two computer hard drives.
Both raids formed part of the police's manslaughter investigation into the King of Pop’s death.
Dr Murray was with Jackson in Los Angeles when he suffered a cardiac arrest on June 25.
His lawyer last month denied Dr Murray had injected Jackson with painkilling medication in the hours before his death.
But reports yesterday claimed the doctor regularly gave Jackson the powerful sedative Propofol to help him sleep.
The Los Angeles Coroner's office has deferred Jackson's cause of death pending the results of toxicology tests.
