An angry Marilyn Manson has issued threats via his Myspace blog against any journalists that publish “cavalier statements” about him.
In the blog Manson promises to travel to the writers' homes and cofront them in response to their allegations, "If one more 'journalist' makes a cavailier statement about me and my band, I will personally or with my fans' help greet them at their home and discover just how much they believe in their freedom of speech".
He continues, "I dare you all to write one more thing that you won’t say to my face. Because I will make you say it. In that manner. That is a threat."
An article in L.A Weekly in which Manson is supposedly presented as a cocaine addict is believed to have triggered the outburst.
Perhaps the ever-outspoken Manson's words should not be taken lightly; he was accused in 1998, along with two bodyguards, of a backstage assault on a journalist relating to a magazine article.
