Police have raided the home and office of Michael Jackson’s doctor as part of a manslaughter investigation into the King of Pop’s death.
Agents from the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), who also took part in the search, removed documents from Dr Conrad Murray’s Las Vegas home.
The search comes less than a week after a similar raid on Dr Murray’s Houston office.
Items seized from the Armstrong Medical Clinic included a weight loss drug and two computer hard drives.
A search warrant authorised detectives to “seize items, including documents, they believed constituted evidence of the offence of manslaughter”.
Dr Murray’s lawyer last month denied his client had injected Jackson with a painkilling medication in the hours before his death on June 25.
But reports today claimed Dr Murray regularly gave Jackson the powerful sedative Propofol to help him sleep.
The Los Angeles Coroner's office has deferred Jackson's cause of death pending the results of toxicology tests.
