Rumours that The Others are to play a guerrilla gig at the wedding of Prince Charles and Camilla Parker Bowles have been scotched by the band’s bassist.
After cryptic messages had appeared on their message board, it was said that an impromptu performance might be held outside Windsor Town Hall when the marriage takes place next Saturday. However, Johnny from the band has set the record straight, telling Planetsound, “We have no interest in Windsor day, and are hoping if we ignore the Royals that they’ll go away.”
Coincidently The Others release new single ‘William’ this week, which just happens to be the name of Prince Charles’ eldest son.
