It has been announced that Chris Martin is due to appear in the upcoming season of the Simpsons.
He will star in an episode where Homer wins the lottery and hires the band to play an exclusive gig for him and Bart and is due to be aired in America this winter.
Al Jean, the Simpsons executive producer explains how, “When Bart goes to the bathroom, Coldplay has to stop.”
Martin is the latest in a long line of celebrities to lend their voice to the popular American cartoon following in the footsteps of other musical guests like Fall Out Boy, The White Stripes and Metallica.
