50 Cent has said he would “love” to make a joint album with long-term collaborator Eminem.
Both rappers are understood to have been discussing the idea informally for years, but have so far failed to settle on a logistical concept.
However, 50 Cent told MTV that he believed they could release a joint album where each rapper had written half of the tracks.
"We haven't [seriously] discussed making an album together, 'cause we would have to sit collectively and create each song," he said.
"Unless we was doing something where half of it was his and half of it was mine.
“And conceptually, maybe if he came up with the first six songs and I built the last six songs and we just featured on each other's records, you know what I mean? We'd do that in a heartbeat."
Eminem is widely regarded as having played an influential role in bringing 50 Cent to mainstream attention at the start of the decade.
Both rapper have since made numerous appearances on each others releases.
