Bestival 2009 Sells Out With Eight Weeks To Go

All tickets for this year's Bestival festival on the Isle of Wight have now sold out.

The event, which runs from September 11-13, will feature headline performances from  Massive Attack, Kraftwerk and Elbow.

In a statement, organiser Rob Da Bank said he was “speechless” that the festival had sold out eight weeks in advance.

“It’s testament to our amazing and very loyal crowd that we've achieved this in a tricky old year for festies,” he added.

Lily Allen, Soulwax, La Roux, MGMT and Fleet Foxes are also on the Bestival line up.
