12-year-old British schoolboy Shaheen Jafargholi wowed the 17,500 strong crowd at the Michael Jackson memorial service at the Staples Center today.
Jafargholi, a finalist in Britain's Got Talent TV show alongside Susan Boyle, sang a dazzling version of the Smokey Robinson penned Jackson five hit 'Who's Lovin You'.
After singing the track, the boy from Cardiff said: "I just want to thank you so much for blessing me and every single person on this earth with your amazing music. Thank you very much, Michael Jackson."
Shaheen was personally invited by Michael Jackson to perform with him at his O2 Arena dates after the King of Pop saw a clip of his Britain's Got Talent audition on Youtube.
After Michael's death, Jafargholi was approached to perform at the Staples Center funeral ceremony by Jackson's family.
Unknown in the US, his rousing performance is set to catapult Jafargholi to super-stardom.
Motown founder Berry Gordy told CNN presenter Larry King that he would have “signed” Jafargholi “on the spot” had he auditioned for him.
