Michael Jackson's Family Arrive At Private Funeral Ceremony

Dozens of members of Michael Jackson’s family have arrived at the star’s funeral in Los Angeles.

Jackson’s relatives were followed by news helicopter cameras as they made their way into the Forest Lawn cemetery.

The entourage, which is also thought to have included close friends, had made its way to the Hollywood Hills cemetery from the Jackson family home in Encino.

There is a huge police presence and media exclusion zone in place around the cemetery, which is the burial site for a host of famous names.

The party are expected to travel from Forest Lawn to the Staples Center for Jackson’s public memorial.

As Gigwise reported earlier, the singer’s body is also expected to make the journey, although there is uncertainty over how it will arrive at the arena.

Meanwhile, fans from around the world who won tickets to attend the memorial have taken their seats at the Staples Centre.

The service, which has been transformed into a pop concert, is due to feature Mariah Carey, Stevie Wonder and Usher.

Other stars set to appear at the Staples Centre include Jennifer Hudson, Smokey Robinson and basketball players Magic Johnson and Kobe Bryant.

Martin Luther King II and Shaheen Jarfargholi – a former contestant on Britain’s Got Talent – are also due to attend.
