U2 kicked off their gargantuan 360degree World Tour in Barcelona last night and took the opportunity to pay tribute to Michael Jackson.
While singing 'Angel of Harlem' the Irish rockers spliced lines of Jackson's seminal tracks 'Man In The Mirror' and 'Don't Stop 'Til You Get Enough' into the song.

Elsewhere, towards the end of the set Bono dedicated their 2001 single 'Walk On' to Aung San Suu Kyi who is currently under house arrest in Burma.
U2's ambitious tour features a giant alien-looking “space station” which will travel with them to each venue around the globe over the ensuing months.
