Kanye West Unveils Elaborate Gold Stage Set For European Tour

Kanye West will perform on an elaborate gold stage on his upcoming European tour.

The rapper previewed a mock-up of the angular set on his blog yesterday.

In a message to fans, he wrote: “THE EUROPEAN TOUR STARTS THURSDAY!!! HERE'S THE MOCK UP OF MY NEW STAGE!”

West's dates in European include a performances at the Wireless festival in London's Hyde Park this Sunday. At present, to concert is West's only scheduled UK show in 2009.

As previously reported on Gigwise, the rapper will embark on a North American co-headlining tour with Lady GaGa this autumn.

West has developed a reputation for audacious stage shows. His last tour, Glow in the Dark, was set in space.
