Lady GaGa left fans upset after she withdrew from two concerts in Manchester over the weekend.
The US singer was due to support Take That at Old Trafford Cricket Ground on Saturday and Sunday.
But a spokesman told the BBC the star was “feeling unwell” and “currently resting on doctor’s orders”.
No explanation was given to fans in Manchester when Lady GaGa failed to appear onstage on Saturday.
Instead, she was replaced by singer Gary Go, who appeared an hour later than originally scheduled.
Take That’s Gary Barlow is believed to have expressed his anger over the singer’s no show at the concert.
During an apology, he told fans: "'Don't get me started, you should have heard me backstage'."
As previously reported on Gigwise, Lady GaGa wowed fans at the Glastonbury festival on Friday with two separate performances.

- She's sick - it happens. She just came off Australian and Asian tours, the Much Music Awards and Glastonbury. She's been an incredibly hard worker. People could give her a break. I take it at face value and wish her a full and speedy recovery. The loss of Michael Jackson - on top of phsyical exhaustion - only made things worse, no doubt.

- Makes no sense she was sick. Gary Barlow is mild-mannered, professional person, & for him to so blatantly express his anger at her on stage, it must have been something else pretty bad. That & it was so last-minute: Gary Go was literally walking on stage when he was told he had to do a long set. If she was sick, they'd have known earlier. Thankfully Gary Go did an amazing ad-lib performance, and he has been greatly praised for saving the day.

- She has the fame ball tour 2morrow. How will she cope.

- No loss for those last night - the truly professional The Script came in as support. Gary Go did a fabulous extra long set on the Friday. I reckon she just had a hangover and couldn't be bothered. Her loss - they'll probably bin her from the Wembley gigs now and get someone who can show some professionalism.

- Her set on the Other Stage was appallingly self-indulgent. From my position in the crowd, most other people thought so too. Manchester fans have missed out on nothing special.
