116 festivalgoers people have been arrested so far, compared to a total of 89 in 2008.
The number of music fans admitted to the medical centre is also up on 2008 at 1793, while 31 people have taken to hospital.
Last year, 1466 people were treated during the whole festival.
There are now 139,000 people on site at Worthy Farm in Somerset, as the festival continues into a second day.
Gigwise's correspondent Hazel Sheffield described the weather conditions as "beautfiul", adding that the mud triggered by heavy rain on Thursday had now dried out.
