Rolf Harris Pays Tribute To Michael Jackson At Glastonbury Festival

Rolf Harris paid tribute to Michael Jackson as he performed on the Jazz World Stage at the Glastonbury festival today.

The veteran Australian spoke about the King of Pop at the end of an anecdote about Elvis Presley.

Introducing ‘Sun Arise’, Harris joked that the song only got to number two in the charts because of “some bastard called Elvis Presley”.

The singer then turned his attention to Jackson, describing it as a "sad weekend".

A number of Glastonbury performers have dedicated their songs – and in some cases, their entire sets – to Jackson, who died on Thursday.

Gigwise’s correspondent James Dannatt said he had never seen the Jazz World stage as busy as it was for Harris.
