Neil Young headlined the Pyramid Stage at the end of the first day of the Glastonbury Festival in Somerset last night (June 26).
The veteran singer played a set that spanned his entire career, opening with the hit, ’Hey Hey, My My (Into The Black)’.
The song managed to get fans hands waving from side to side - a movement they maintained throughout Young’s performance.
Other songs in the singer’s set included 'Heart Of Gold', ‘Comes A Time’ and ‘Mother Earth’.
Gigwise’s James Dannatt said fans at Worthy Farm described the performance as “the best they had ever seen”.
Our critic said Young was “amazing” throughout the set, which ended his own version of ‘A Day In The Life’ by The Beatles.
Bruce Springsteen headlines the stage tonight, with Blur closing the festival tomorrow.
