Kasabian were cornered by Sarah Ferguson at the British Grand Prix on Sunday, according to reports.
The former wife of Prince Andrew is believed to have expressed her and her daughter's – Beatrice and Eugenie's – admiration of the group.
Ferguson also asked the band to sign copies of their new album 'West Ryder Pauper Lunatic Asylum', but struggled to recite the title, according to The Sun newspaper.
“The Kasabian lads looked a bit sheepish when Fergie came galloping over,” a source said.
“She was clearly gushing with praise for their music.”
The unnamed source added: “It wouldn’t be a surprise if she was after one for herself judging by her flirting.”
All four members of Kasabian, including frontman Tom Meighan and guitarist Serge Pizzorno, attended the race.
The band are believed to have been helicoptered over from Ireland especially for the Grand Prix following a gig with Oasis.
