The Knife have previewed a three-minute taster for their opera based on Charles Darwin's theory of evolution.
The excerpt is titled 'Colouring The Pigeons' and is part of the sprawling opera 'Tomorrow, In A Year'.
Here it is in all its glory:
As previously reported, the opera features three guest singers from different musical backgrounds while Japanese dancer Hiroaki Umeda has choreographed routines for six dancers.
The production is expected to debut this November on the 150th anniversary of the publication of Darwin’s On The Origin of Species.
