Ex-lovers Rihanna and Chris Brown will face-off in a Los Angeles court next month over their alleged fight earlier this year.
Rihanna's lawyer has been informed his client will be subpoenaed to appear at a preliminary hearing on 22 June to determine if there is enough evidence to continue a case against Brown.
The singer is facing charges of assault and making criminal threats, stemming from a clash with Rihanna after a pre-Grammy Awards party back in February.
Rihanna, who was photographed after the fight with a bloody and bruised face, will attend the hearing, her attorney Donald Etra tells Us magazine.
At a separate hearing on Thursday, Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Patricia Schnegg denied Brown's attempt to discover who leaked a photograph of a bruised Rihanna to the press.
