The Ting Tings have revealed that they are set to record their second album in Berlin this summer.
The duo have already started work on new material for the follow up to 'We Started Nothing' despite constant touring since its release.
Katie White told the Daily Star: "We have a few ideas for the second album, but haven't started demoing any new songs.
"It's going to be the two of us again. And I don't really know how it's going to sound until we start banging around."
"Maybe a bit rawer, but definitely still pop," Add Katie, "we only know how to write pop songs."
"We've got all our stuff from our studio in Manchester being shipped over to Berlin where we've got a studio above a jazz club."
White added that the band are also planning to play the new songs during several shows in the German show.
She revealed: "It's so important for us to be able to throw parties like we did in the early days of the band to road-test the songs on our drunk friends."
