Meg White has married her partner Jackson Smith in a ceremony held in the back garden of Jack White's home.
The ceremony took place last Friday (May 22) at the Nashville property and was a double header with Dead Weather and Raconteurs bassist Jack Lawrence also getting married to his long-term girlfriend Jo McCaughey.
A statement on The White Stripes' website confirmed that a small number of family and close friends were invited to the intimate ceremony.
Jackson Smith is the son of Pattie Smith and late MC5 guitarist Fred (Sonic) Smith. Also a musician, he performs guitar regularly with his mother.
Meg married John Anthony 'Jack' Gillis in 1996 and divorced four years later, despite continuing to work together in The White Stripes. Gillis took Meg's surname in a typically unorthodox manner.
