Massive Attack are planning to launch a 150-date 2009/2010 tour with their previously announced UK tour.
Robert Del Naja and Grant Marshall will tour the world and headline festival dates in Latin America to promote their first album in six years, which will be released in October.
Del Naja, aka 3D, tells Billboard: "We'll do the UK, Europe, then take Christmas off, and then go to Asia, into America and then we'll roll out to the festivals... I can imagine for this we'll end up doing, maybe, 150 gigs."
The duo were honoured with an Outstanding Contribution to British Music award at the Ivor Novello Awards in London on Thursday.
