The man who allegedly shot and killed rapper Dolla has been charged with two counts of assault with a firearm and one count of murder.
Police caught up with 23-year-old Aubrey Berry, who stands accused of killing Dolla at the Beverley Centre in West Hollywood on Monday, as he was attempting to catch a departing plane from LAX Airport.
Berry's bail has been raised from $1 million (£666,000) to $5 million (£3.3 million), according to TMZ.
Dolla signed to Akon's record label Konvict Muzik in 2007 and released a number of singles under the imprint, including his biggest hit 'I'm ****ed Up' last year.
