New photos of Michael Jackson emerging from a medical centre in Virginia have further fuelled fears that the singer may have skin cancer.
Jackson appeared without a mask covering his face as he left Bedford Medical yesterday (May 19), treatment for skin cancer is one of the services the centre does offer.
Reports from British tabloids at the weekend suggested that the singer was diagnosed with the condition last month after an examination in Los Angeles.
The rumours were immediately denied by Jackson, with spokesman saying: “He is great. He's in perfect health ... he doesn't have any diseases whatsoever."
According to The Sun, doctors had identified spots of skin cancer on the singer’s upper body and pre-cancerous cells on his face.
The newspaper said Jackson, who is often pictured wearing a surgical mask, was to be treated by Cambridge-educated Dr Ralph Masse.
But the diagnosis would not affect Jackson’s comeback shows, the report added.
