Diddy himself Sean Combs has paid tribute to Dolla who was shot dead in Los Angeles yesterday.
21-year-old Dolla was fatally shot in the head in the car park of the Beverly Shopping Mall in West Hollywood at 3.10pm.
Reacting to the news of Dolla's death, Diddy wrote on his Twitter page: “R I P Dolla! God bless his family! He was a good kid! You will be missed player. Don't take life for granted people!”
As reported earlier, police have arrested a suspect in connection with the killing as he tried to leave Los Angeles International Airport.
Dolla's publicist confirmed the rapper had been involved with an altercation whilst aboard a flight from Atlanta to Los Angeles. However, it's unclear whether this is the reason behind the shooting.
