R.E.M.'s Peter Buck has admitted he's never once read an internet blog.
In an interview with Pitchfork, the 52-year-old guitarist says he gets enough information from books to use the internet frequently.
Quizzed about his thoughts on the online speculation surrounding R.E.M's new record, he said: “I don't really know. My use of the Internet is so minimal. For instance I've never read a blog.”
“There is enough information. I read books, a lot of books. Occasionally, I'll use the internet to look up facts or an article on something I want to read, and that's great, but I have no idea what people write about me.”
We won't hold our breath for Peter Buck Tweeting any time soon, then.
