Martin Scorsese To Direct Frank Sinatra Biopic

Frank Sinatra is set to become the latest musician to get the biopic treatment after it was announced that Martin Scorsese is set to direct a movie about the Rat Pack legend.

The film is being developed by Universal Pictures and Manadaly Pictures after they acquired the rights to the singers music and story.

In a statement Peter Gruber,  Chairman of Mandalay Entertainment Group, said: "We have dreamt of making a movie about Frank Sinatra, and Marty Scorsese is undeniably the perfect vision keeper for this project."

The film will be thew first about Sinatra's life and sees Scorsese continue is exploration into the music world following his work on 'Shine A Light' last year.
