Organisers of the Sonisphere festival in Knebworth have abolished the £11.50 booking fee charge on tickets.
Fans who buy tickets from today will no longer be charged the supplement, while existing weekend ticket holders will have it refunded.
Organisers said the decidion to scrap the fee had been influenced by Glastonbury, who recently announced a similar move.
In a statement, they added: "The festival has been working closely with all ticket agents and we have negotiated with the House of Commons that we will be putting booking fees through on MP’s expenses. We feel they owe you!"
Sonisphere runs from August 1-2 and will feature performances from Metallica, Linkin Park and Slipknot.
Other acts scheduled to appear include Nine Inch Nails and Anthrax and Airbourne.
Ticket for the festival are on sale now and available via the Gigwise Gig Guide.
