The Dears Have Their Tour Bus Stolen In Montreal

The Dears have had their tour bus stolen in Montreal just as they were preparing for their six week tour of North America.

The bus was taken from the parking lot of the Comfort Inn in St Jean, Pointe-Claire while the driver was asleep.

Fortunately for the band no gear or other luggage was on the bus at the time and they still plan to start the tour in Toronto tonight.

A plea for information on the missing bus has been put out, the vehicle was a Prevost model, Series 60. Accuride Alcoa; license plate: V957YW.

Last year Iggy and the Stooges also had their bus and gear stolen in Montreal.
