Oasis guitarist Noel Gallagher has said he expects his brother, Liam, to “freak out” when he releases his debut solo album.
Noel has written a host of tracks for the record, which is due to arrive before Oasis’s next studio effort.
He also said he expected each Oasis member to release their own solo material in the future.
Speaking to Q magazine, the guitarist said: “I've got a lot of songs lying around and some of them are really great. But they're not Oasis songs.
"They're going to sit there and do nothing, so hopefully at the end of this tour I'm going to go and do something for myself."
Noel said fans would find it “really interesting” when the band’s members release their own work because it will show “how each individual makes up the whole”.
He added: “I don't think it'll affect what Oasis do. Liam, on the other hand, will ****ing freak out."
As previously reported on Gigwise, Liam responded to criticism from his brother yesterday (April 21) using his Twitter account.
