US rapper Snoop Dogg is in talks to host this year’s MOBO Awards in Glasgow, it’s been reported.
The event, which has moved away from London for the first time since 1996, will take place on September 30th.
A source told the Daily Mirror: "It would be a huge coup to get Snoop.
“He's such a crowd pleaser and was a great host of the MTV awards in Munich."
The urban awards ceremony will be held at the SECC.
Last week, former MOBO winner Lemar said the ceremony was a "perfect fit" for Glasgow.
He added: “I love touring in the UK and the welcome I receive when I come to Scotland is incredible."
