Green Day Announce Massive American Tour

Green Day have announced details of a huge US tour in support of their new album '21st Century Breakdown'.

The 38-date trip kicks off in Seattle on July 3 and also includes shows in Philadelphia, New York and Miami.

Other gigs will take place in San Diego, Las Vegas and Los Angeles.

'21st Century Breakdown' is released on May 15.

The follow-up to 2004's 'American Idiot' was recorded alongside Nirvana and Smashing Pumpkins producer Butch Vig.
