Oasis guitarist Noel Gallagher and comedian Russell Brand hosted their first radio show together last night (April 19th).
The pair presented a two-hour football special on Talk Sport, which featured a guest appearance from Jonathan Ross.
The pre-recorded programme marked Brand's first return to radio since he quit BBC Radio 2 last year over a prank calls row involving Ross.
The broadcaster, who was himself suspended over the incident, said on the football special: "You're not back on the radio, are you?"
Gallagher, who was a regular guest on Brand's Radio 2 show, joked that his co-presenter and Ross had failed to learn any lessons from the prank calls row last year, which saw them leave a series of lewd messages on actor Andrew Sachs' phone.
Ross responded: "We'll listen to it very carefully before it goes out. Noel, you can sit back and be the grown-up one."
The programme also saw Brand leave an message on Barack Obama's answer phone enquiring as to whether the President was a West Ham fan.
Talk Sport are said to be considering making the show a more regular feature.
