Slash has revealed that he currently has four finished tracks for his new solo album which will feature a host of guest appearances.
Writing on his Myspace blog the former Guns N' Roses guitarist said theat he already thought the album would be “a kick ass record”.
He wrote: "We've nailed four killer tracks with four amazing vocals so far. Everybody who has contributed vocals so far have been flawless and the rhythm section, Josh and Chris, are priceless.
"All in all this last couple of weeks have been a hell a lot of fun and we're just getting started. It's definitely going to be a kick ass record, if I do say so myself."
The album is being produced by QOTSA and Lostprophets collaborator Eric Valentine.
