Guns N' Roses' 'Chinese Democracy' Set For Rock Band Release This Week

Guns N’ Roses latest album ‘Chinese Democracy’ will be available to download via the video game Rock Band from tomorrow (April 14).

The album, which was fifteen years in the making, was originally released last November.

Fans will be able to purchase individual tracks or the complete album from Rock Band’s online store.

Last December, frontman Axl Rose hit out at Activision, who make Rock Band rival Guitar Hero, claiming the band’s songs had appeared on the game without permission.

    • Axl has matured. You will find the music is more complex then what the original band was putting out 15 years ago. Chinese Democracy is like an old Pink Floyd album; the more you listen the better it gets. Axl voice is better, richer, and healthier than it was years ago. The band members that replaced the original band are as good in their own right, and actually bring a more modern sound to Gun N Roses. Chinese Democracy will eventually be deemed a rock and roll masterpiece.

    • I agree with TheCloser. Chinese Democracy is not like old Guns, but it is a good album that shows a more mature Axl.

    • If they released this album instead of the spagetti incident people would have hailed it as one of the greatest albums ever. Its easier to poke fun at it. Lets be honest, use your illusions 1 and 2 had a few songs on them that were just there to make up the numbers. I can't think of any really weak songs on this album
